Yamaha announced that through their OHV Access Initiative called GRANT they will be giving another $80,000 dollars to the program. GRANT stands for Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nations Trails. In 2009 Yamaha has given $685,000 dollars and combining that amount with their 2008 funding brings the total to about $1.3 million.
Yamaha’s ultimate goal with this program is to help riders and off-roaders of all kinds ensure that adequate land is available for their use. They provide funding and resources to many different OHV clubs and associations as well as state and federal level land management agencies. Yamaha ended up funding over 11 different groups in the last quarter of 2009. All of these groups are listed below. - Oregon Department of Forestry: Tillamook District

This is nice to hear. Too many green government types closing the trails and making it hard to ride. I’m glad Yamaha is stepping up and keeping the trails open.
