Yamaha announced that through their OHV Access Initiative called GRANT they will be giving another $80,000 dollars to the program. GRANT stands for Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nations Trails. In 2009 Yamaha has given $685,000 dollars and combining that amount with their 2008 funding brings the total to about $1.3 million.
Yamaha’s ultimate goal with this program is to help riders and off-roaders of all kinds ensure that adequate land is available for their use. They provide funding and resources to many different OHV clubs and associations as well as state and federal level land management agencies. Yamaha ended up funding over 11 different groups in the last quarter of 2009. All of these groups are listed below. If you would to learn more about this program you can view all of the details directly on Yamaha’s website.

Thanks so much for sharing this informative review. So glad to have run over on this updates.
Well thought plan. I get the feeling we’ll see more companies support the off road community in the near future.
That will definitely buy a lot of land! Land insured you could say.
This is nice to hear. Too many green government types closing the trails and making it hard to ride. I’m glad Yamaha is stepping up and keeping the trails open.
Yamaha is so good !
Yamaha is making good business sense in providing the off road funding $1.3 million im sure this is well spent.
